Insomnia diaries

When she can’t sleep, Shelley writes.

“Insomnia allows me to write undisturbed in the dead of night”

I started diaries for each of my two children, documenting their journeys from conception.

They are teenagers now and we are several volumes in. They still love to read about themselves.

I write all of my head-clutter out. It is like a therapist, patiently listening, not judging, just remembering.
