Making Sense of Your Senses

April 17 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free
A light and dark yellow background. A hand with purple slime, a blue spiky ball and 5 jelly babies. It reads, Making Sense of your Senses. An exploration of the relationship between our senses and mental health.

This course is great if you:

want to explore how our senses can affect our health and well-being

are curious to understand how sensory preferences are different for everyone

are keen to understand how to use your home or workplace environments to support your health and well-being

What are our 8 senses and how do they connect with our mental health and wellbeing?

How can we change our environment to support our wellbeing?

How can understanding other people’s sensory preferences impact our relationships?

This course brings people together to explore the relationship between our senses and mental health. We’re going to learn about sensory modulation and how your environment and each of the 8 senses can impact your mood and wellbeing. We’ll explore sensory preferences through practical activities, and learn about how they differ from person to person. This course might change the way you see yourself and others!

NOTE:  This ONLINE mini-course is a taster of the usual full course.
